HealthNet TPO
HealthNet TPO is a Dutch knowledge-driven NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) that works on the structural rehabilitation of health care systems in fragile states (areas disrupted by war and disasters). By developing evidence-based interventions our aim is to reach better health care for all.
August 26, 2010 - To make a collective and well-coordinated effort for flood-affected persons, a national consortium for flood relief has been established in Pakistan. The joint efforts of the member organizations make effective and efficient aid possible.
August 23, 2010 –The 2010 Mental Health in Complex Emergencies (MHCE) course is a 12-day training course for mental health professionals and programme staff who wish to establish mental health or psychosocial programs in complex emergencies and humanitarian settings.
August 19, 2010 – Today the UN organizes the second World Humanitarian Day. This day is an opportunity to raise awareness for the thousands of humanitarian workers who work in disrupted areas to help crisis-affected people.
August 13, 2010 – In addition to the good news on the conviction of ‘Duch’ by the Cambodian Tribunal, there is now even more good news: Recently, over 147 households were able to insure themselves for medical expenses. With help of Eureko/Achmea (a Dutch insurance company) and the Rabobank Foundation, HealthNet TPO is making the Cambodian health care system more accessible.
HealthNet TPO is implementing a health service delivery programme in Western Bahr el Ghazal and expects to expand its health sector support with a similar programme in Northern Bahr el Ghazal. Therefore we are currently seeking eight candidates to fulfil various vacancies.
